I want to thank everyone who supported my campaign. We came up short, but we campaigned on the issues and fought for the kind of justice down at the courthouse that we all believe Harris County should have.
To everyone who volunteered, to everyone who donated money, to everyone who signed a petition, and to everyone who offered advice and encouragement, I give you my heartfelt thanks. I have said before that it is a privilege and an honor to run for public office, and I mean every word of that. I loved meeting people from all over Harris County, and I loved talking with you about the changes we need to make down at the courthouse. Although this campaign is over, our work is not done. Please stay involved in the political process with me!
